I have used a DC machine previously with good success. I would not have to do treatment on a daily basis once the sweating stopping ... I could wait more than 1 week. Is that the same with the PC 5 machine?

It is the same for the sweat free period. If you can stand the max. output current the direct current machine can provide, but if you can´t stand e.g. more than 15 or 20 mA (because direct current hurts you), because with a pulsed you could go up to 25 you will then normally have<h2>longer sweat free periodes</h2>

The pulsed iontophoresis current is much more comfortable.
