I just started using the Hidrex GS (DC device) and have a question about the voltage. I am treating my feet only, and can crank the volts up to as high (or higher) than 40 and treat for 25-30 minutes. Can I keep going higher? How do volts convert to mA that everyone keeps referring to? Is 40 V adequate to achieve an effect?

40Volts is a lot for sweaty feet for Iontophoresis direct current mode with the Hidrex...

Volts can converted into mA like this

1V=0,5mA

e.g.:

60V=30mA

30V=15mA

You can adjust it similar like the Hidrex psp 1000

the only think is that you cannot set a pulse ... in short: iontophoresis shall never hurt, and the skin condition must be always healthy and should not be influenced through iontophoresis
