my name is Leland. I have hyperhidrosis of the hands and feet. I have idromed DC. It has helped with my hands and I now do a treatment about once a week or so. I'm just wondering how long will the almuinum plates last? And also how long before I need a new device? I'm 22 years old and understand what everyone goes through with this. It's not easy but just keep trying and youll see some improvement. Hopefully one treatment a week or less will be good enough for me from now on. I live in California so I hope the power converter lasts a long time. Thanks for your help. |

Normally they should last for the product's lifetime, as long as you do not break the plugs.
In some cases (when there is much salt in the water - or when you add salt during the iontophoresis therapy) the plugs of the aluminium electrodes corrode and break after some years. With stainless steel electrodes, the lifetime is "forever" and the device should do its work for 25 years. _________________ You are welcome...
