Hello,
I previously tried the Hidrex direct current model for about 8 weeks of fairly intensive use, but experienced no benefit for my plantar hyperhidrosis. I even tried different water (Evian, etc.), and frequently sought your counsel on this forum for troubleshooting. Ultimately, I was forced to return the unit and you very nicely returned my money after several extensions of the deadline.
I still have plantar hyperhidrosis, and am interested in giving iontophoresis another shot. I am soliciting your advice regarding the best unit to purchase--I presume a pulsed current is preferred since i failed the DC, although pain did not significantly limit the current and I was treating my feet. If PC is the way to go, is Idromed or Hidrex the better unit?
Thanks in advance for your help. |

At which rates or dose have you driven the hidrex gs400?
What was the voltage?
How long was the time that have you spent treating with Iontophoresis during a week (in minutes )? _________________ You are welcome...

about 30 minutes per day for about 2 months, with voltage around 40-50. I had very little discomfort. |

You can give both a try.
I would suggest the Hidrex to you because you are familiar with the device.
Did you keep the consumables from the Hidrex gs400 ? _________________ You are welcome...

Unfortunately, I do not have any of the equipment anymore. I want to give it another try, but because of travel/work I anticipate not being able to perform the treatments as regularly as needed in the next couple months. And I am moving in July, so unsure if it is worth pursuing in that context until after I move.
Thoughts/suggestions welcome. |

We think it is worth a trial, even when you cannot perform it everyday. We believe it is because you were not able to get over the Iontophoresis treshhold level, below this threshold Iontophoresis does not work.
We can prolong in this very special case the money back phase until you have success with the therapy.
We wanna help you out, not rip you off...
Simply order the device and give it a new trial... _________________ You are welcome...

Thanks very much for your post--I appreciate that you would be willing to prolong the money back gaurantee.
I plan to purchase another unit in March, since that is when my schedule settles down after being out of town off-and-on for most of February.
I will be in touch. Thanks again! |
