Hello I have had my idromed 5 for 8 days now and my hands are 99 per cent dry . I used it at first for a hour a day at 15 mA then dropped it to 30 mins a day when my hands were 80 per cent dry . I need to start my maintance soon , my question is can drop the duration down to 15 mins

This you can only find out through trial and error, but: please take a closer look at the 2nd link below, it may give you a guideline that you will not take the risk to lose the sweat reduction in parts or overall...
And if: a new initial therapy is - compared to the sweat free success - just laughable
but - no one - even not in the early state of Iontophoresis therapy wants to lose it, right?
We would bet that you will not lose the sweat reduction if you shorten your current time, but this we cannot guarantee...

If you lose the sweat free effect - even if it is only gradually - then it is generally a sign that:
something has changed (water quality - life style, emotional, so on).
Your treatments are too short.
You treat at too low currents.
