Hi,

I just got my Hidrex PSP1000 and did my first session. I didn't change any settings and the display read 15:20. The manual says that the pre-set pulse width is 90%.

So I reckon my first treatment was for 15 mins, at 20V at 90% pulse width, is that right?

Also, how do I change the pulse width?

Thanks very much!

Hello,

Yes, right.
To change the pulse width during setup you have to push the third button under the display (from left to right), see page 13 of the user manual.
Please also take a look to following link:

Thank you for your prompt reply.

At the setting that I mentioned above, I felt a very slight tingling sensation at the start for a few seconds. After that I didn't feel anything anymore.

Is this normal? Should I increase the voltage then?

Cheers!
Darryl

Hello,

Yes, don't worry. Note that the skin has to get used to the current and the therapy shouldn't hurt! Just listen to your body in order to find out the perfect treatment settings for you.
Have you already tried to lower the pulse width?

Thanks for your reply.

I left the pulse width at 90% and increased the voltage to 25 instead. The tingling sensation was greater this time, but I think I got used to it after a few minutes.

Can I do 2 times of 15 minute sessions a day?

Cheers!

Sure, many users do 30 or 45 minute sessions a day.

Hi Markus,

As you can see from my post in the Success board, I've nearly achieved 100% sweat free hands after about a week or so of therapy.

My left hand is 100% sweat free but my right hand gets a little sweaty sometimes when I get very nervous about something. Do you have any tips on how I can achieve 100% sweat free on my right hand?

I've been switching the polarity every treatment.

You can try and treat the right hand with the + pole only until you reach 100% success. An then, once both hands are dry, you can go back and change polarity every other day.
