Markus,

I've tried touching my feet together, baking soda, and warm water when doing my feet but it will not go into the running time mode. The only way I can get it running is when I dip my hand in one of the tub and then remove it. I crank it up all the way to 25 but the machine goes up only to 17ma very slowly. I don't really feel anything except tingling and a little pain in my toes and when I raise them up , the ma goes down to around 15 ma. I even stand to make sure I have good contact. I've only been doing the treatment for 7 days.

I have no problem with the machine doing my hands. I set it at 6 ma (its already itchy and tingly) and when I put them in the tub it runs right away.

Help! Am I getting the right treatment even though I don't feel anything on my sole? Thanks

This can occur when you have real thick skin. Setting the device at the max could be the cause of the high resistance.

Do you have thick calluses?
Can you take a footbath and use a file to get rid of them?

I have a small callous on the balls of my feet so I trimmed it and it worked for about 3 days. Today I did my treatment and I had to dip my one hand to get it running. It will go up to 21 ma. Even with the resistance my feet are moist and so with my hands after 10 treatments. It was so hot and humid today that without this treatment my hands and feet would have been dripping. I know a few more treatments and I will be completely dry. I started my treatment for my armpit today without any problem.

Thank you for your prompt reply. This machine is incredible. It really works. When I achieve complete dryness, I will post on the success board. I will also tell the dermatologist I went to who is not familiar with iontophoresis about your machine so she can really start helping her patients.
