Hi,
For the first 17 years of my life I did not sweat at all, or least never noticed it once. I'm now 20 and have been dealing with this issue for 3 years. My feet sweat all the time, even when I'm at rest and cool. It is mainly my toes that sweat the most; in between and around the toes are always really clammy. My hands do get clammy from time to time but are not as annoying as my feet which are always cold and wet.
Can an Iontophoresis machine help with sweating in between and around the toes? or does it only help with the soles of the feet?

That's good news! I was wondering if you might know something since you work/talk with a lot of people with hyperhidrosis. Do people with Plantar Hyperhidrosis tend to sweat mostly in the toes and upper sole area? or it is all over. For me it is primarily the Toes. I can take my socks off and my foot will be dry (the sides, and sole), but my toes will be really sweaty and cold.
Anyway, Iontophoresis seems to be the next step for me and fixing this problem. Do you ship to Canada? thanks |

Hello,
Well, this is hard to say. People with Plantar Hyperhidrosis do not sweat all on the same spots. Some sweat all over the feet, some only at the top, some only at the soles and so on.

Thanks for the reply.
I thought about building one myself because of the price; however, I don't want to accidentally shock myself really bad.
It is quite an investment to purchase a professional device. I need to check if maybe I can get some of the price covered by insurance.
I look forward to trying out a machine and hopefully helping this problem! Thanks! |
