Hi. I know this is a very weird question, but I am and always have been a very healthy individual (with exception of my hyperhydrosis) and I think that the constant sweating out of my hands and feet is a means of detoxification for me and I am worried about two things: if the sweating stops, will my body build up all of the toxins that are being sweated out? Even as I type this, both my hands and feet are quite moist and this is how it always is when I wake up. I am trying to imagine not losing all of this sweat and the effect it will have on my body. Secondly, is there compensatory sweating involved once the machine is used? My Idromed is on it's way to me as I type this and I am very excited as I am a guitar player that drenches the guitar every time I play and also I have wanted to take dancing lessons but have been so fearful of sweaty clammy hands that no one in their right mind would want to touch. I can't wait to use the machine and get results but also think that my body does this for a reason and once it is stopped there might be something put out of balance. Thank you in advance for responding!

When we see that hyperhidrosis starts for most in people in very young years, and at the same time for example siblings are not affected, then you have to ask: why is someone affected by hyperhydrosis while the other family members are not ( or else they should maybe also have started to sweat too), I don't think you need to worry, but if you believe that your sweat does take out some toxins from your body - try doing 2 workouts a week
I honestly dont think that excessive sweating in defined parts like sweating hands is a sign of toxination.
Compensatory sweating is not known in relation to iontophoresis. Some users have a increased sweating when they begin with iontophoresis and maybe through this a light cs, but up to now I know of no one that has had this problems for a longer time. It should be reduced to a normal level after entering the maintenance treatment level.
