Many thanks for your interest in our products.

Iontophoresis is a very individual therapy. At the beginning (initial treatment) it’s very important to treat daily (generally for 15-20 minutes), then it is normally possible to gradually reduce the treatment sessions (maintenance treatment). Some people may even sweat more initially, but some are suddenly dry and others gradually (without any increase in sweating). This is really very individual and is different from person to person.
The therapy should not hurt and everyone has to find his individual perfect setting to get dry by trial and error (of course we provide a full support service, through our hyperhidrosis forum here, through e-mail or even by phone).

The success rate is very high (about 98%) and, thanks to our money back guarantee, if you should not be satisfied with the device, you can return it within 8 weeks after you have received it and then we debit back the money. Please read here for more info.

Please note that we always recommend taking a PULSED CURRENT (PC) device, even for feet treatment and specially for hands and axilar treatment. Pulsed current is much smoother and not as painful as the direct current. Under this link you´ll find more information about this topic: https://www.iontodevice.com/hyperhidrosis/iontophoresis-pulsed-current-better-than-direct-current-t139.html , https://www.iontodevice.com/tap-water-iontophoresis.htm
So, we recommend the Idromed 5 PC or the Hidrex PSP 1000. Basically it is a matter of taste, because both machines are the best on the market!
In short:
Idromed 5 PC: preset therapy session timer of 15 minutes, current is shown in mA, only pulsed current available, very easy to use (but nevertheless very effective).
Hidrex PSP1000: therapy session timer can be set individually from 1 to 60 minutes, current can be shown in Volt, more setting options than the Idromed, can be driven either in direct current or in pulsed current mode with different pulse width settings, depending of which area you have to treat, a bit more complicated to use than the Idromed.

Best regards
