This post is very informative regarding insurance. Thanks very much, Markus! I will take the codes to my doctor's appointment in June so he can send a letter of Medical Necessity on my behalf and hopefully get this process going.

Hi Markus,
I am interested in buying the Hidrex PS 500. How do I get Insurance to help with the cost (in USA)
I've never heard that any insurance company in the USA will cover the costs of an:
iontophoresis machine

Hi Markus,
Thanks for your response. I also have another question. I am having a hard time deciding between Idromed 5 PC and Hidrex PS 500 (PC). Which one is more effective to treat hand and feet sweating (best results and least amount of time needed)? I would really appreciate an honest assessment. I see that with Hidrex PS, I can switch between pulsed and direct current, which may be useful. Also, does the Hidrex PS 500 (PC) have an 8 week trial guarantee like the Idromed 5 PC does?
Thanks,
I would take the Idromed 5PC because this offers more power in the Pulsed Mode, so a treatment of hands and feet together is in the most cases successful. The 8-weeks trial we offer at the moment is the same for all iontophoresis machines.
