my right hand is a little bit more sweaty than the left , yet I use the right with the + most of the time any suggestions. All in all though the device seems to be working fine

Just give it a little time. many users with the same problem treat the hand that sweats more only with the plus pole until both hands are equally dry and then they start switching polarities.
