Dear Laura, here is your request, may you respond to this post in the future? Quote: | I am getting some results - I just use it on my feet - but I haven't managed to get completely dry yet. I've tried different methods - using it every day as directed, using it every other day - but I haven't yet gotten to complete dryness. When I first got it I used it every day for a few weeks, didn't get completely dry, and have used it somewhat sporadically since. Do you have any recommendations or tricks for getting drier faster? I do use some baking soda in the trays, and have been treating at 20 for 15 minutes.
I tried logging into the Priority Support section of your website, but wasn't able to get in.
Also, I did provide some positive feedback on the device to the International Hyperhidrosis Society. They didn't post my comments, but do have your device listed on their webpage now!
Thank you for your help! |

Quote: | Ok, I'll try it without the baking soda. Is is possible to do two consecutive treatments a day to speed up the process? |

Yes for sure, you can do up to 4 (1hour) a day, as long as the skin and comfort is all right . More time will not speed up a iontophoresis success linear to the time of usage.

I've been using the Idromed PS5 for quite a while, and still can't seem to get my feet completely dry. Most recently, I used it for about two months straight, very rarely skipping a day, for a minimum of 30 minutes, sometimes 45 or 1 hour at 20-22 ma. I'm only putting in enough water to fill in between my toes. My water is softened, but still seems to be pretty hard. I've used it both with and without baking soda in the water. I generally switch the polarity every day - so after each 30-60 minutes. My toes seem to be getting pretty dry, but the heels and balls of my feet are still sweating. Is there anything else I can try, other than just keeping at it? I have seen improvement, and am excited about that, but would love to see more. Thanks! |
