Hi there,

I used my idromed 5 for the third time today and find that I can only handle 1-2mA on my hands. Is this too low? Above this level my hands feel very tingly and uncomfortable. During and after today's treatment I found my hands were quite itchy and felt like there were small currents of electricity running through them. Is this normal?

In the beginning sometimes yes, so don't worry.Usually the current can be increased very quickly after having some treatments. Good that you have a pulsed current device.

I'm only 10 days into the treatment. At first I could only tolerate 6mA and had to smear petroleum jelly on any minor cut. But now I'm noticing that I'm ramping up the current by 1 mA every day or two without any pain and no need for the petroleum jelly.
