|
|
Hello,
I have been treating my hand and forehead (using electrodes) for 23 days now with the Hidrex PSP 1000. I took 2 days off during that time so 21 treatments total.
For the hands I started with the default setting and have gradually increased to 40 min / 22V / P-90
For the forehead I started with the default setting and gradually increased to 20 min / 10V / P-70
Immediately after beginning treatment my sweat increased to about 150% of where it was previously and the increased sweating has continued. Also my foot sweat increased 150% but they are not being treated.
I am doing the treatments at night and using current care afterwards.
I am not washing my hands or using cream beforehand.
Since we have extremely soft water here I was using tap water with 1tsp soda for the first 3 weeks. The soda seemed to make the treatment more painful/powerful.
For the last two days I switched to Evian water with no soda, and will continue to use this.
I have kept the + polarity on my right hand (handshake) and the - on the left, but switched it for only 1 day every 7 days.
I take a multivitamin daily but stopped taking it 2 days ago.
At the beginning of treatment I had some burns that were small holes in the skin which I covered with vaseline.
The increased sweating is a real problem at work and the lack of success is a bit discouraging.
Any advice is much appreciated!

Thanks for your reply.
I switched last night to the following:
Hands from 35 min 22V P-90 >>> to 25V P-80
Forehead from 20 min 10V P-70 >>> to 12V P-60
What do you think of these settings?
Should I be trying to go higher? Such as hands 30V even if its only P-50 or P-60?
Thanks! |

As long the skin is in perfect contition and you have a good feeling there is nothing against increasing the currents
Maybe it is a good idea to switch the % lower - as long you reach the desired current you have dialed there is not a must to increase the pulse width...
Remember to be careful with sensitive parts like the face _________________ You are welcome...

By "% Lower" do you mean lower pulse width?
I am reaching the current dialed each time.
I am at my limit of tolerance, so I believe I can increase the Voltage only by reducing the pulse with.
Should I try to get to 30V even if the pulse width has to be P-50?
Thanks! |

%=yes
The setting with the best feel, condition and effect must be checked out for everyone, we only can say in general this:
The lower the pulse (or current) the lower are normally the side effects _________________ You are welcome...

OK thanks.
I am now doing:
Hands: P-70 35mins 30V
Forehead: P-60 20mins 12V
In both cases I increased the voltage and decreased the pulse width.
My hands feel quite numb in the mornings compared to the prior settings.
No change in sweat so far (other than an increase) on day 26.
Ready to start praying at this point! |
