Hi, it's been a while since I posted. The iontophoresis changed my life!
Question: I read your post on cleaning care (https://www.iontodevice.com/hyperhidrosis/cleaning-and-care-spare-parts-t51.html) but I want to clarify:
Do we just use regular rubbing alcohol that you buy from the drug store to clean the patina on the aluminum electrodes? Also, is the soaking in the vinegar necessary? To be honest with you I haven't cleaned my electrodes since I purchased them (8 months now).
ALSO, I am thinking of starting treatment for my feet. I have the hidrex pulsed current machine. What would I need to buy to set myself up for simultaneous treatment (hands and feet). |

Hello,
It's good to hear that Iontophoresis is working so good for you. =)
You should clean the electrodes at least once a month. This way they will last a whole lot longer! The vinegar is not necessary, it's just an option on how to clean them. You can also use the regular alcohol from a drug store. Clean the plates with a soft cotton pad, so you don't scratch them.
For parallel treatment of your hands and feet, you don't really need anything extra. You can simply place the two feet in one tub and the 2 hands in the other tub! _________________ You are welcome...

Thank you for your quick response!
I guess I will need another plastic tray if I want to do simultaneous treatment for the hands and feet. Any plastic tray would work, right? Thanks. |

Sure, you can use any other plastic tray. But the case will also work. just separate the two halves, so you have one for your feet and one for your hands! _________________ You are welcome...

Oh, I didn't know the tray comes apart! (I usually use it to store everything when I'm done with treatment). Thanks. I'll give it a try. |
