Hi, I was wondering if I could use a topical antiperspirant, such as Dehydral cream, with iontophoresis. I apply the cream on at night. Could I potentially harm my body by doing this? It does relieves some of the sweating, which makes it easier to bear through the day. |

Our recommendation is: Do not use any Antiperspirant agents in conjunction with Iontophoresis. Iontophoresis can push ingredients of it in the body where some of them can cause serious problems. Same thing applies to medications that can be brought with Iontophoresis in certain areas. The big advantage in this is that systemic side effects can be reduced in most cases significantly.
