Hi!
I am a user of Idromed 5 PC for the past 15 years (!!!). I have had two of these devices over these years purchased from your site. The most recent one I received in 2019, so its been 7 years with the current Idromed 5 PC machine. In the past few months, I've noticed that my sweating has been increasing more and more until now, the device is basically not helping at all anymore. Over the years, I have kept the same exact schedule of treatment, only pausing for travel or illness on occasion. I'm finding it hard to believe that my body has built a resistance after success for all this time? There have been no changes- no moves, no new water issues, no new meds, nothing that I can think of at all to cause this. I don't really feel the "tingle" anymore, unless I have a cut, in which i know for sure its working in that case. I do the Idromed at 15ma for hands, and 25ma for feet- although my machine has not gone higher than 22ma in the past couple years. It always powers up to 15 or 22ma every time I use it. I do once a week treatments for 30 minutes. Sometimes twice a week in the very humid and hot summer months here. This level and schedule has been effective for 15 years now! My sweating is very extreme and so this device has been a life saver up until now.
I'm wondering if 1) my electrodes are no longer effective?- I'll admit that I have not replaced these in the past 7 years. and I don't know if they are aluminum or stainless steel. They are the flat ones. I was able to find a new set (the new ones are L shaped) and just started trying those today. Again, not sure if they are stainless or aluminum.
2)The other thought is that maybe even though Idromed machine is saying 15ma or 22ma when I power it, maybe its not actually getting to that level in the water anymore? Either the current is not being sent fully or through the cords or ???? I'm not sure. I just know that I do not feel a tingle for treatments. I can feel it in my hands only when I turn it up to 18ma, but I can't get any higher than 22ma for my feet since that's as high as the machine goes now.
Please advise on machine help, or treatment help? I am hesitant to take a treatment break to check for resistance, only to find out it's actually the machine that has issues. :/
Thank you so much for any help! |

Yes I did read through many articles on the site regarding treatment and machine maintenance. I guess I don’t understand why I would have success for 15 years with the same “magic number” and schedule, and then suddenly not success, with no changes in my life or body.
I guess my question is if my machine could be failing without showing signs?
My Idromed 5 PC won’t go above 22Ma and I don’t feel the current on my feet.
Thanks. |

If you dont feel the current and the same does not go to its maximum, please read through our troubleshooting if you google it you will find it, that is listed the useful information how to do
Sometimes it is like this, there could be a change of biorhythm or we grew older, and then you may need some sometimes more or less dosage _________________ You are welcome...
