I have been doing the treatment now for 17 days straight and 'think' there is some improvement in my sweating, however, I noticed I am now sweating more in between my fingers. I don't think I have experienced this before. How do I treat in between my fingers now that I am sweating more there?

Also, a question about how much water to use. I am using Volvic water and the treatment towels I purchased from you. Initially I used a lot of water, however, now I am only using enough water so that the towels are damp. There is not much excess water in the trays. Is it better to use less or more water? I read your other post about water level but it does not answer my question.

Hi there,

yes, the less water the better. To treat the sweat in between the fingers, use a cotton glove, just like shown in the pictures here: https://www.iontodevice.com/hyperhidrosis/how-high-shall-i-fill-in-the-water-in-the-trays-t145.html
Fyi, the app is still not available. We will let you know as soon as it is.

A few follow up questions.

1) I assume gloves should be 100% cotton. Will these gloves work?

2) I assume any parts of the glove that is wet will treat that specific area of the hands?

3) Do I also need to use this in addition to the towels or should I use the grids or neither?

4) Should I finish treating the main areas of my hands before moving to treat the sides of my finger?

Thanks.

Hello! Smile

Yes, please only use gloves made entirely from cotton! As long as they're 100% cotton, you can use any gloves you like. These ones seem to be made of 100% cotton.

Yes, the currents will flow through the wet part of the cotton gloves.

Please always use towels or grids, even when treating with the gloves in place!

We always recommend iontophoresis users to treat the "main" areas of the hands first, since this is usually where the sweating is most uncomfortable. Then, in a different session, you can treat the sides of your fingers, too!
