Hello, if hands stop sweating as much as before, for example: still sweats occasionally, but does not drip sweat like before. Should person start maintenance schedule? like every other day. or wait to its COMPLETELY not sweat at all?

Because I have been using the Idromed 5ps for more than 4 weeks(more than 29 consecutive days)just started using 13mA, but sometimes it goes from 12-13mA back and forth.

It might of not work too well in the beginning (first couple weeks) because was trying to get use to the machine. It does not really sense the hands. always goes back to the beginning at 0 mA then slowly goes to the higher number than goes back down, just not as sensitive, i think the direct pause could of worked a bit better.

Right now I do start to see to work a bit, still sweat but not dripping sweat. i would say around 70-80% dryness.

Just wondering when would you recommend to start maintenance therapy, because dont want to over therapy. Please let me know. Thank you.

it makes sense to start the iontophoresis maintenance when you reached your desired dryness level, according to:

https://www.iontodevice.com/hyperhidrosis/introduction-to-iontophoresis-initial-treatment-t326.html

there are also some other hints that might be helpful for you tpo rech more dryness (if wished)

what do you mean with?
direct pause could of worked a bit better

so for example if i reached dryness on day 29 after session, do i start maintenance next day right after(day off)? or do one more therapy then do day off?

with direct pulse, so it will not drop down to 0 mA and wait the time to go back to the current mA. if direct mA it just gives you full power of 12 mA(the settings we set right at) - is this true? thanks.

hello, so on day 30 after therapy, i have reached around 80-90% dryness. I did not want to over therapy so i had the next day off. First day off, a bit of sweat came back however its not like before. about 70% dry, does not drip like before. Which is better. However, would you recommend me to keep doing daily treatments. Or try every other day? because i read your forum, that we should take a pause and do not over therapy?

Please let me know! thank you very much for you guys helping through.

iontophoresis overtherapy, you have to think about when upper skin gets dry, this is normally a pretty long time after the skin is 100% dry and you treat further like a maniac ...

hello,

- if you are happy with the 70%-80% dryness you have reached, you can go to maintenance.
- if you are not satisfied with 70%-80% dryness and you want to have 100% dryness, then keep treating everyday until you reach 100% dryness, then you can start with maintenance.

It is always a personal decision!! =)
