Dear all,

It has been noticed that many hand sweat treatment using Iontophoresis has caused palm skim to peel, just wonder if using Hidrex's Face Mask set can cause the face skin to peel?

And, what is the safe range in terms of Voltage and Current setting?

Looking forward to hearing a clarification or advice, thank you very much!

Best regards,

Dear lioncity,

until now we have not heard of facial peeling do to use of the facial mask. As for the current setting, we recommend to start low and with a pulse width of 50%. Everyone has a different perception of current, so it is hard to recommend a specific setting. The important thing is that you don't feel pain.

Skin peeling can occur if you drive too high settings for the current and dont hear to your bodys signals like pain or uncomfortable feelings
Also with bad devices and direct currents or bad pulsating current through lack of professional knowledge in the field iontophoresis engeneering

Using PSP1000, if the output settings are set to a relatively low level without any painful feeling, can this ensure there will NO skin peeling even after a long time usage? please advise, thank you again!

Palm skin peeling still can be acceptable, but if face has skin peeling, that will be a big issue.

At low current level with 50% pulse width, can this ensure face has not skin peeling even for long term use? this is my big concern, please kindly advise, I look forward to hearing the confirmation, thank you.

As i mentioned before, if you have the false machine, or drive to high currents with ours , skin peeling can occur. I never heard of when the pulsed current is adjusted to a comfortable feeling

If so, what is PSP1000's suggested current strength to avoid skin peeling? thank you again, I look forward to hearing from you.

You have to find out, everyone is different. For the face be very careful and stop if you feel something like a tingling sensation, then go back a bit till you feel nothing
you can set the machine up like this -> https://www.iontodevice.com/hyperhidrosis/how-to-adjust-the-perfect-pulsed-setting-for-hidrex-psp1000-t748.html

Because facial mask is a whole piece, the current can go through from left to right side before putting it on face, is this the reason that the "Diving" indication doesn't work?

Please advise, thank you.

No, this is another reason. You have to wetten the mask then you have to put in the electrodes, and THEN you plug the electrodes in, else the machine remains in security test mode

The dive indication is for service reasons and to prevent that someone setup zero volts and is wondering why the machine does not start (althoug she starts - but only counts up to 0)

After wettening the mask, putting in the electrodes, and then plugging the electrodes in with power on, then the Dive indication should be lightening, is it correct? before putting mask onto face?

If Dive indication is lightening before putting onto face, then the Voltage will grow without control.

When you put mask onto face, the voltage might be growing to very high value already, which might hurt face. Is this a correct status?

Please advise, thank you.

the machine only goes as high as you have set it up in the beginning.
if you set for example 12 volts, then ater the DIVE light turns on, the machine automatically goes up until 12Volt. Maybe 1-2 less, but it will not go higher uncontrollably.

Hello Support,

Thanks for your replies. but it seems we are not talking the same point, sorry it's probably due to I didn't asked clearly.

My question is:
For example: I set 12 volts, then plug mask soaked with water into machine, then the DIVE light turns on before putting mask onto my face, the machine automatically goes up before putting mask onto my face.

Please note the statement "before putting mask onto my face"!

When after-a-while putting mask onto my face, the voltage might has been going up to 10V already, which might make my face uncomfortable!

How to handle this problem?

Ok, I understand and think I know where the error/problem is. Do everything as you have BUT, only insert one electrode in the designated pocket on the cheek of the mask. Then you can easily put the mask on and insert the other electrode in the designated pocket. ONLY THEN then the dive light should turn on and the machine starts the therapy, meaning that only then the volts start to go up.

Please let me know!

So, this requires the 2nd electrode only can be inserted after the mask is put on the face?

yes, or you plug the cable(s) in the device after you put the electrodes in the mask and the mask on the face
