Iontophoresis sponges homemade
A customer e-mailed us this tip. We recommend buying the original replacement sponges.
So for all "willing to take a risk" this instruction is an "approach" and can prevent you from making rudimentary mistakes . We do not recommend doing this at home.
Quote: | Hi there, so the sponges for replacement are not even cheap.
They can be made "at home".
Important: the material of the sponges must be thick.
This means at least 5 mm appr. 0,2" . The thicker, the better. If they are too thin you have the risk of burns!!!!
So if you can't get sponges or coats in this thickness you have to buy original sponges!!!
Stich the Coat/Sponge to a bag that fits the electrode.
Then if you have made your sponges "at home" you can give them a trial.
Try them out CAREFULLY .... do not overdose. First: Treat at the lowest level to see if they work. They you can go carefully higher.
