Hello,
I recently purchased the Idromed PC, and have been using it for 21 days with no results. I have used the following regimen for my feet only:
-35-45 minutes/day
-daily treatment
-23-25mA
-switching polarity every 5 treatments
-water level very low (~500ml/tray)
-no extra lotions or medications
-only treating feet
-using tap water with NO additives--water is moderately hard (live in Florida)
I have previously tried and failed iontophoresis using water in the NE of USA, even with baking soda, Evian, and glyco additives (at various timepoints), so I am frustrated that this is not working after 3 weeks.
I would very much appreciate your assistance.

Maybe it will just take more time in your case, 3 weeks is not much.
It's also possible that your body resistance is too high so read the following tips:
Have you have washed your hands, feet or armpits with soap, or used lotion or cream right before treatment? This increases the body's resistance. Please clean your hands and feet with only warm water, since cold water increases the body's resistance too.
Do you drink enough water ? A healthy water balance lowers the bodys resistance too.
Use warm treatment water (can be even as hot as a warm bath), since cold water increases the body's resistance.
Many users have a good success with bottled water from VOLVIC . Try decreasing your water level a little bit more.

Still no success, unfortunately.
No--I do not use any lotions or creams, and I generally use lukewarm water. I will try using warmer water and a lower water level.
I am not sure I understand the resistance issue--the Idromed PC readout says the amperage, which is the current level. If the current level is maxed out, the resistance is irrelevant since it has been overcome by adequate voltage to produce the current level.
In any case, I will keep going with daily treatments to the best of my ability. I am doing40-45 mintue treatments; I have seen people have success with shorter treatment times. Is this something to consider or is more always better?
I am not ready to jump to volvic water since it is difficult to obtain and rather expensive. If after 1 month I achieve no success perhaps I will go to that.

the hint concerning the body resistance was because you mentioned 23-25mA , so it looked for us that it could be at the edge of the body resistance...
however some users need loads of time in the beginning
you can use the water multiple times to reduce the costs - it is only to prove
you can try to add 50% rainwater also, but if it has no effect - go ahead with volvic to sort out
and pls do not add anything else into the water

Still no success after approximately 14 more treatments. I missed a couple of days due to holidays, etc., but in genera; treated 5-6 times each week, generally for about 35-45 minutes at maximum mA.
I have not added anything to the water yet, but will certainly try Volvic water if you think that will be helpful.
What is the longest you have seen it take for somebody to achieve success on their feet?
Is there a point at which I should admit defeat if I haven't seen success?
Sorry for all the questions, but I am getting frustrated. Thank you in advance for your help. |

pls try volvic for 3 weeks
for some it can take up to 2 months to get a success, if all points are walked through (water e.g.)

Unfortunately, I have been using volvic water for about 3 weeks now and still no success. I continue to treat for 30-45 minutes, daily (miss very occasionally) at 25mA, treating just the feet. I use no topical products, no systemic medications.
I am committed to trying to achieve success. However, in the next couple of weeks my wife will have a baby and I am not optimistic about my ability to perform daily prolonged iontophoresis treatments with a newborn. In fact, the reason I ordered when I did was to try to get things controlled before the newborn's arrival.
I am at a loss. Previously I have tried iontophoresis (with your product and Fisher), and failed tap water, Evian, and water with glycopyrrolate. Now i have failed 30days with tap water (very hard...in Florida) and 20 days wtih Volvic using daily treatments with highest mAmp and long treatment times.
Any guidance is more than welcome. I am, of course, grateful for your efforts to help me with my problem. |

My skin is overall fine, with just some small cracks that did not impair my ability to perform the treatments, if I applied an ointment to protect them from the current.
The sweating has not appreciably changed. |
