I have had excessive sweating since I was a child. When I say excessive, my sweat drips down my palms in a steady stream if I don't wipe my hand every 60 seconds. I was suggested Iontophoresis in my teenage years and then again years later as the only option to manage my excessive sweating. The only trouble was going to the hospital to get the treatment. Here NHS gives a combined session of 5 treatments. Works great, but doesn't work in the long run. You go back to square 1 in less than 3 weeks.
So so so glad I found this device. Brilliant piece of equipment and I can use it when I need it most. I am a teacher and handling paper and writing on flips is what I do everyday. Cannot express how distressing it is, when whatever you touch gets soaked and you have to keep wiping your palms. Honest, it takes the joy away from life!
Yes there are downsides, like you cant operate it for your hands yourself and need someone to work the equipment, to sometimes getting blisters on the palm if the setting is left high- but considering the benefits, its a small hiccup.
Brilliant product! I have tried everything under the sun ranging from strong lotions, home remedies, prescription medication and even counselling! This is the only thing that has worked for me. I don't need to use it often. When I begin the treatment I start with every alternate day. The sweating gets worse when I start the treatment and then my hands start to get dry. Sometimes I don't need to use the device for a few months as well. It is not a cure but a wonderful remedy to aid in making life easier for people who suffer with as excessive sweating as me.

thank you very much for your success post. We are happy that you are so satisfied with the machine.
As for the treatment of hands, you can operate it by yourself! If you need to regulate the current for example, you simply put out one hand, dry it, regulate the current and place the hand back in the tub. As simple as that, no need to have a second person help you out!  And if you have blisters, you can cover them either with vaseline or nivea creme, this makes the treatment much more comfortable.
