Hello, I have a couple of questions before I order. I think I am going to go with the hidrex psp1000.
1. If I order through sweating.com (Im in the U.S.A.) do I get granted the special access part of this forums for the tips and help?
2. I see there is a return period on the product for a refund. Is there generally good results in that time period for the machine to work?

| Also, after comparing both of the brands pulsed current machines I think the hidrex is the better machine with the user being able to have more control of the current. Is there anything else that is substantially different between the two? |

Hello,
Both devices are very effective but yes , the HIdrex PSP 1000 offers definitely more adjustment options!
In short:
Idromed 5 PC: preset therapy session timer of 15 minutes, current is shown in mA, only pulsed current available, very easy to use
Hidrex PSP1000: therapy session timer can be set individually from 1 to 60 minutes, current shown in Volt (and in mA), more setting options than the Idromed. It can be driven either in direct current or in pulsed current mode with different pulse width settings, depending of which area you have to treat, a bit more complicated to use than the Idromed.

| Sorry for the frequent posts, but the more I read the more questions I have. It seems like more customers purchase the idromed over the hidrex, is the idromed more common for sweating of the hands and feet? |

They are almost equal, both brand devices (Idromed and Hidrex) do a superfine job, but maybe you can look at this to get the right idea of which device to choose.

| Hello, I think I am ready to purchase one of the machines tomorrow! A couple last questions. What is the difference between the aluminum and stainless steel electrodes? 2. My hands and feet sweat together. When my hands are dry, my feet are dry. I dont necessarily have to treat them at the same time. from your link it looks like the idromed is better if you want to treat them both at the same time. Is this still true? |

| Just to update- the machine was shipped out the same day and the tracking was provided by email the same day as well. I will update when the machine comes in and I start using it. I have severe hand and feet sweat so I will post updates on the treatments. Thanks for the quick service. |

This is really taking a long time ! With the tracking number you can take acloser look... maybe you should contact customs, since this has been long time now, maybe they can speed it

I received the machine and did the first treatment! Thanks for your help.
1. Just to make sure, just the palms of my hands sweat so I only put enough water in the tray to make the towel wet?
2. I felt a tingling sensation but no pain or burning but a tingling sensation on my left hand which was on the red side throughout the treatment, normal?
3. How often should I clean the towels or replace the towels?
I think that is all the questions I have right now. Thanks I am really excited about these treatments, hyperhidrosis has been horrible for me. |

1) Then there is no need to go higher.
2) The + pole is more effective during Iontophoresis treatments, so it is normal you feel more current under one electrode
3)How often do you wish to clean them? it is your deciscion, for hygienic reasons I would do this frequently.

As long as it is thick and big enough to keep the skin completely away from the electrodes during Iontophoresis treatments, yes.

| Does it matter what hand goes with each electrode? I went by the video on youtube and the left hand was on the red side. I prefer my right hand to be dry for shaking hands, can I put my right hand in the red side? |

| Tonight will be my 4th treatment and I will be doing 15 minutes at 25 volts. Last night I did 15 minutes at 23 volts with no issues. My hands were extremely sweaty today (possibly more than normal) so hopefully this is a good sigh that the treatment is working. |

update-yesterday my hands were about 70 percent dry and last night I did 15 minutes at 32 volts and today my hands were 100 PERCENT DRY!!!!!!!!!!! This is insane! I played 18 holes of golf in extremely hot weather with the same glove! i usually change every 6 holes. I was with customers and was shaking hands all day with 0 sweating on my hands. I cant believe it.
Question-Ill keep doing the procedure at 15min with 32 volts, should I keep doing this every night for a few more days? When should I starting backing off the procedure to fewer treatments? I still cant believe it!!!! |

Good job Clar!
Thats always a good feeling to be able to play golf and shake hands, sweat FREE 
I was playing golf last weekend and hands were completely dry like I said in my other post its been around 8 days to with no treatment, but I can feel the sweat will return shortly...
My other friend is actually asking me about this device coz we both have the same issue. I saw his hands were sweating like crazy and I told him he should consider buying idrome...well it works for me!

| I cant get the machine to work tonight???! I have it set at 15 minutes 32 volts and when the machine turns on it says set and then displays 15:32. When I put my hands on the tray it just stays at 15:32 and normally it counts up to 32. The timer does not go down and I feel nothing from the plates?? Help!! |

It must be a safety feature, I was able to get it going after it sat for 10 minutes turned off.
jsmanrique, 8 days is great!! I am going to start the every other day for 14 days. My feet are sweating less as well since my hands are dry. It is an amazing feeling. Good luck to you and hit them straight!! |

| I still cant believe my hands are as dry as they are. I was in an extremely important social situation a few minutes ago with lots of hand shaking and they did not sweat at all. My hands and feet were always soaking wet even relaxing around the house. This machine is amazing, I just wish I purchased it earlier! I started the every other day treatments last night without doing a treatment and they are still dry. |

Just an update:My hands have been dry. I do the treatment 2 days off and one day on. This has worked the best for me. It has been amazing.
Also, do you sell the hidrex towels that come with the machine? |

| Just checking in, my hands are still sweat free!! Still doing the procedure off two days and on one day. I am even thinking about purchasing a second machine just in case something happens to this one and I have to send it in for repair. It is an amazing feeling going from severe sweat to no sweat at all! |

| Just wanted to update the thread. My hands are still sweat free and have been for over a year! It has been an amazing feeling. I am still using the machine 2 times a week. I could probably go a little longer but I find this works the best. My hands were def a severe case and I highly recommend anyone that wants dry hands to try it. I also have found that even though my feet still sweat it is not as much. I feel like they kind of follow my hands. |
