I received my Hidrex PSP 1000 yesterday and the first treatment went very well. I followed the instructions and ran the device at the factory settings for the AX treatment. Today I attempted a second treatment, but the device did not appear to start when I placed the pads under my arms. The colon continued to blink and the timer stayed at 15:00. Yesterday it began to count down once the pads were placed under my arms.
Any suggestions?

I just tried it again and the treatment would not begin. I completed the following steps:
Completely saturated the AX pads
Plugged the power cord into the device
Plugged the power cord into the wall outlet
Plugged the red and black cords into the device
Plugged the red and black cords into the electodes
Turned the device power on
Selected the underarm option
Placed the electrodes under my arms
15:00 continued to show on the display and the colon continued to blink
The treatmenet did not appear to begin.
I even connected both pads by bridging the space between them with my fingers as shown in the picure and that didn't cause the treatment to begin.
Yesterday the Hidrex worked fine. No problems at all for the first treatment, but now it won't begin the treatment. |

| Yes. See my note above about bridging the space beteen the 2 pads with my fingers. That didn't work either. |

I have used nothing under my arm. I tried to sue the device after taking ashower this morning, so I had nothing on my skin at the time.
Im also tried to place the 2 pads on top of each other this morning to try to complete the circuit and the device would not start. I just tried that again and they were fully saturated with water and the device would still not start treatment. The 15:00 just showed on the display and the ":" continued to blink.
What's strange is that last night my first treatment was fine. The treatment started immediately after the set-up, but not today. |

You have to setup a certain current or time.
15:00 means you dont have any current in the setup so there is nothing the device can increase to....
Or, is it 15:00 only when you placed the electrodes (over each other or underarm) ?
Does the dive led lit when you place the pads over each other?
According to the manual page 13
1) Setting treatment parameters:
If you have deactivated the memory function (LED is not lit) or if no user has been selected (none of the three LEDs is lit), the main display will show the following:
On the left, the display indicates the scheduled treatment duration in minutes, and on the right, the preselected treatment dose in Volts.
The colon blinks during this phase!Select the desired treatment dose1 with buttons 4 and 5, and the desired treatment duration with buttons and. Each time you push one of these buttons, the corresponding treatment parameter is increased or decreased by one Volt or one minute, respectively.
Hint: By holding one of the push buttons down, you can continuously in- or decrease the corresponding treatment parameter.

Thanks you very much. That seems to work. I increased the volts to 8 and the display read 15:08, which is thefactory setting in the manual. The unit started treatment when I inserted the pads under my arms. Can I assume the pulse is set to 70% with the underarm LED selected or should I check that some way?
One more question...can I do two 15 minutes treatments each day or just limit it to 1?
