| I have been using the Hidrex ps500 machine for many months now with mixed results. Currently I do daily treatments of 30 minutes at 25 volts. My left hand has achieved dryness, but my right hand continues to sweat with about a 50-75% success rate. I have tried changing the polarities as well as increasing the voltage with no further success. I have recently tried to follow the water level adjustment tips. What else can I try? I would be very happy if I could achieve the success of my left hand in my right. |

More current ... more success
Putting the + pole to the hand that sweats more and reducing the water level leads, for many people, to a better success, the device has no automatical polarity switch (described here) Iontophoresis polarity switch
If it does not hurt and the skin is ok, then the current can be increased until there is a tingling sensation.
If it hurts only partially, you should reduce the current. If it is partial you can also cover the part that hurts like this:
