I just finished my first iontophoresis treatment of both hands and feet with the Idromed 5 DC at 8mA. It did not feel uncomfortable at all, but my thimbs are irritated where the water level stopped. Should I increase the voltage for my next treatment? |

If you can stand higher currents, then you can slowly increase the current. If not, then please stay at 8 mA. The important thing is that the treatment should not hurt. Pain is a sign that the current is too high, and then you should lower it.
As you use a direct current device skin irritations are higher at lower current levels, like we tell every time: USe a pulsating current machine, it is worth the little "more" in money compared the big "more" you get in comfort and / or current strenght... _________________ You are welcome...
