Hi,
I just bought the idromed 5 GS not too long ago, but recently started using it.
I noticed yesterday after my 2nd time using it, the veins in my hands were DARK black/blue and crazy prominent. If I poked at them, I could see the veins moving.
I was worried and kept moving my fingers and hands, and over 5minutes, the vein colors slowly disappeared and my hand went to back to normal.

Does anyone know why this is happening? It slightly worries me, and freaks me out to be honest.

And does everyone feel a strong tingling in their hand after the treatment? Like both mine feel like they've fallen asleep/dead and tingling x10000.

This is probably due to the direct current.
We always recommend to take a PULSED CURRENT (PC) device:

Such temporary side effects are possible with the direct current, but generally the therapy should not hurt!
Which treatment settings did you use?
How high was the water in the trays?

I bought the Direct Current because I read some reviews saying the pulsed current didn't work as well for alot of people.

I raised the dial up to 9 max, and left my hands in for the allotted 15min, and the water line barely covered my nails.

I can't say it "hurts", but towards the end of treatment time, I do have a very slight stinging/irritation at the water line. It's just after the treatment ends, my hands tingle with this electric kind of feel for a couple minutes.

My veins aren't somewhat being harmed by this treatment, is it?

There are some exceptions:
https://www.iontodevice.com/hyperhidrosis/cases-when-direct-current-is-more-effective-than-pulsed-t833.html
but normally pulsed current it's better, not only in terms of comfort but also in terms of effectiveness.

I think it's only that the current strongly encourage the blood flow, that's why the veins become more apparent.
Concerning the water level, generally it's better to use only a little amount of water:

In order to find the "right" current setting, it's recommended to slowly increase the current intensity until you feel a light tingling sensation and then decrease it a little bit, so that the treatment results comfortable.

Try it out and let us know how it goes. If the therapy with the DC device is not good enough for you, you still have the option to upgrade the device to a pulsed current version.
