I have read on other sites that some people treat their hands and feet at one time... both hands in the positive tray and both feet in the negative tray, alternating the positive and negative trays every other treatment.
Is this effective? I would love to save time and treat both at once. |

Sure, you can treat hands and feet together. We can not really say if the effectiveness will be the same. We've had customers who have great success treating feet and hands together, others only achieve dryness by treating them separately.
The thing is: Is your device able to deliver enough current for both hands and feet? For this you have to have a powerful device like the Idromed or Hidrex . But even there the question is if it is enough for someone who e.g. has to treat hands and feet seperately at the full power it can deliver. If you are lucky it can work. Also generally, if hands and feet don't have approximately the same sensitivity to the current, it is sometimes tricky to figure out the best treatment . If they have the same sensitivity and the machine can give you enough power for both hands and feet then there is nothing to stop it from working. A lot of battery operated devices are not strong enough for this, and mostly the manufacturers don't have a routine for this in their manual. So you have to do this by trial and error.
Iontophoresis is a very individual therapy so you will have to try it out to determine if it works in your case.
Please note that the positive pole has a slightly stronger effect (so many users lay the + pole to the feet, but it's up to you). You can find more information under following link:
