Hallo, I am interested for iontophoresis device. I am from Serbia. I have hyperhidrosis since I was born.I have a few questions:
1. Is PC or DC same as galvan current in the regular physical therapy?
2. On your PC unit what is the frequency( is it 8000hz)?
3. Am I(my palms or footh) in the direct contact with electrodes in the water?
4. Is there a possibility that I can be burned? 15mA is a lot
5.Any unit I choose, how many channels do I have, if I understood well, in basic model I can treat both hands in the same time, ex. anode in one tub, cathode in another?

1. All currents that are direct ones are called galvanic currents, and yes they were used in widely in the regular physical therapy.
2. Iontophoresis pulse frequency: Hidrex and Idromed run at 10 kHz
3. No there is a layer between the electrodes and your skin in order to prevent burns.
4. To prevent this see above .. 15mA is a lot .. the devices have a higher output 30mA max for Hidrex and 25 for Idromed, also the voltage is important, max 72 V for Idromed and max. 60 V for Hidrex devices
5.There is one channel Iontophoresis, a 2nd circle is not needed because our high power Iontophoresis devices can be used for even simultan Iontophoresis applications
