Many thanks for your interest in our products.

It's difficult to say exactly how long the plates will last. It depends on many factors, for example on the kind of water, on how often do you clean them, if you dry them with a cloth after each treatment… However the stainless steel electrodes are more robust and resistant so they will certainly last longer (normally some years).
The electrodes have to be covered with the cotton towels included into the Hidrex set (or plastic distance grids, included into the Idromed set) in order to avoid direct contact with the electrodes wich may cause burns.

Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

Hello,

I am very interested in purchasing your HIDREX machine. In this regard, could you please advise:
1)approx how long do the Aluminium electrode plates last?
2)how long do the steel electrode plates last?
3)during treatment, does the patient place hands / feet directly on the electrode plates (or) is there any mesh cloth material to place hands / feet?

Thanks!
