| 8 V on a small area like the armpits is enough, the current is focused in a tiny area, so overall with 8 Volts there is more current than with 40 at the feet. Because the skin is very thin and sensitive there, the bodys' resistance is (normally) very low, so the device will go in a prevention circuit to avoid burns under the arm. Sensitive mode is out or in? There is a difference between on and off. If you need more current there is one trick you can try, this one I send you per pm... |

| I use the Hidrex PS500 for my hands and feet and recently, due to compensatory sweating, am using the axillary electrodes for under arms. For hands and feet, the voltage usually hovers around 40V maximum, but will not go any higher than 7-8V for axillary. Is this normal or is there any way I can get that voltage to rise to at least 20V? | |
