The body is the resistor and it closes the current circle e.g. from one hand into the other. When only placing one hand on one electrode nothing will happen.

No closed circuit, no current.

Okay, it's my misquote on the term, it's closing a circuit. But my idea is, why the need to close the circuit? Can't I just treat only using one pole, + pole for example, and leave the other empty? Why is there a need to have at least one hand/feet on the other pole? Anyway the reverse polarity will only be done after the 5th treatment.

Where is this stated, in the manual, please tell me on which page number?

Normally it is meant:
the current cycle - the current flow.

OR

to close a circuit

to complete the circuit

only when the device didn't start the therapy there is a simple trick to close the circuit.

Hi Markus,

In the manual and forum it mentioned that either one hand or feet must be in both trays in order to complete the cycle. What kind of cycle? An electrical cycle that passes through our body from one hand (+ pole) to the other (- pole)? That sounds scary.
