| Hello, Please excuse the long wait..... "Prolonged usage of high frequency surgery units on a patient can cause burns under electrodes." --> If a surgery unit is used at the same time as the Iontophoresis machine, then this higher frequency can cause burns. "Effective current densities over 2 mA/cm2 at all electrode faces require higher attention from the user." --> Theoretically, all currents above 2 mA can be harmful. But, if the user uses the machine as advised in the manual (by placing the elctrodes in the tubs, then the distance grid on top of the electrodes and then water inside the tubs), there is no Problem. |
