Oh yes, I forgot that one. Sorry!

If you're treating simultaneously, then we recommend keeping the feet on the electrode with the red cable and the hands on the electrode with the black cable. So there is no need to switch.

Thank you so much. I feel relieved now. Please what about the polarity switch? Do I have to switch the cables or not if I treat hands and feet simultaneously?

Hi Jackie,

yes, usually, after you have reached your desired dryness level, you switch to the maintenance therapy..
Take a look here: https://www.iontodevice.com/hyperhidrosis/introduction-to-iontophoresis-maintenance-treatment-t25.html
Don't worry, there's nothing wrong in having treated the last 4 weeks daily. Just read how to go on with the maintenance therapy.

I have further questions regarding the usage of idromed 5 PC. I started the therapy four weeks ago and achieved dryness on palms and soles of my feet after seven consecutive days. I didn't know about the maintenance schedule, so I kept using the machine every day these past four weeks. Each day simultaneously on my hands and feet for 15 minutes. Did I make a mistake? I thought one was supposed to do this at the beginning of the therapy. What should I do next? Not use the machine every day or else? I am asking this because I bought this machine only recently and I see a lot of old posts here and I'm wondering if there are changes when it comes to the maintenance schedule. Also what about the polarity switch? Should I change it once a week or not change it at all if I treat both hands and feet at the same time?

Hi there,

no Problem using the machine when you have your period. Most users use warm water.

Hello,

I am new here so I apologize in advance if this topic has already been answered. My question is can I use Idromed 5 PC on my feet while I have my period? Should I use warm water? I have used cold so far. Should I avoid therapy on my feet on such days?
