Hello,
Normally you can remove one or both hands from the treatement tubs during the treatment without any problems (like when you have to increase or decrease the treatment time or voltage settings), as in the following video:

My daughter is on "Day 10" of treatment and today we missed putting Nivea on one of her cuts so her cut was burning during treatment and she needed to stop to cover it and start again. We pushed the "-" button to take the does from 15mA down to 0mA. She kept her hands in the water. Then we turned the power button "Off" on the device and she got SHOCKED. What did we do wrong? There was still time on the display, but the mA was at "0". Should she have removed her hands before we turned the power "Off"? What is the proper sequence of events if you need to stop treatment early and avoid the shock?

Thank you,
Beth
