I intend to buy an Idromed 5 DC unit next year. I have a medium form of palmar and plantar hyperhidrosis and I have a few questions: 1. In the maintenance period, does it offer 100% relief in palm sweating no matter how stressful a situation could be? (when I shake hands with a lot of people or when I hold my girlfriend's hand for example) If it works properly, yes for sure. 2. Will I get a relief greater than 80% on my foot sweat? We try to achieve 100% dryness, and usually we reach this goal. 3. What are the advantages of Idromed 5 DC comparing to Idromed 4 DC? Next year we will not have the 4 DC available any more. There are only a few available now. The 5 DC is better for hands treatment, since it has an integrated timer that switches the machine on and off. The 5 DC also increases the current up to the level you set up (0-25 mA) at the beginning - and decreases the current to zero at the end of the treatment. |
