It is always better to continue with a maintenance therapy after the initial treatment, than having to start all over again every time the sweating returns.
Please read the following links:
Initial Treatment
Maintenance Treatment
The idea behind the maintenance treatment is to have dry hands full time and avoiding that the sweating returns!

Post subject: How Often Should I Re-Treat?
I have had great success with my iontophoresis device for THREE YEARS! The only thing is that I get so used to my hands not sweating that I put off using the device until they start sweating again.
I've never done treatment BEFORE the sweating has returned, only AFTER. If I were to do a preventive treatment before the sweating starts again, would my hands start to get sweaty again, and then get dry, or will my hands just continue to be dry?
I have a job interview on Thursday and can feel that the sweating might come back in a couple of days and want to stop this before it starts.
Thank you!
