Could be fine. Just try it out and see it fhe surface of the palms is completely wetted with water.

I read it.
Can you please give me a measurement of how much water to use if only my palms are sweating? |

I only sweat on my palms and bottom of feet.
.
I'm afraid that if I use less water, it wont cover the areas that sweat, specifically the thumbs and center of the palms. |

...it could be even less, just in order to wet the bottom side of hands/feet.
Where do you sweat exactly (soles/sides/top ...)? |

28 oz. correspond to about 800 ml. Normally a lower water level helps to improve the results, just like this:

Yes, it's good to use a lower pulse with higher voltages. It's quite normal that some days you can stand more and others less. Don't worry about this, the therapy should never hurt, just listen to your body and continue with daily treatments.
If you notice that you can stand more than 30-38 Volts but you can not reach higher settings with 50% pulse, then you can even increase the pulse width to 60%.

It's hard for me to tell how much water was used in the video. Is 15 oz. for hands and 20 oz. for feet a good amount?
When using 15 oz., very little of my hand is actually immersed in the water. |

I'm new Iont therapy and can speculate about the causes. Might well have been the Rasputin bio I was reading for all I know! |

Yes, let us know please!
You have just started the therapy, right? If so, this could be a possible explanation, since some patients are very excited when they start the treatment because of their high expectations towards the therapy... |

No, unfortunately I've decided to it in the mornings after that happened. Was similar to a dose of caffeine. Anyway, if it happens again I will write about it. |

I've never heard that before... Maybe someone else?
Have you experienced it more times? |

Hi, I started doing iontophoresis again.
I have successfully managed to treat my feet. I was unable to entirely prevent foot sweating, but that's okay, I just wanted to minimize it.
For my hands though, It's important to stop the sweating completely.
I have been treating my hands for 3 weeks using:
*28 oz. of water
*Between 30 and 38 volts
*50 pulse
*20 minutes a day
I assume I am using volts because the ma light is not lit up.
I put the pulse down to 50 so that I could bring the voltage up higher. Was that a good idea?
I put the voltage as high as a can, but some days my hands are more sensitive. Is it better to use the same lower voltage every day or fluctuate between higher and lower voltages?
If I can, should I make the voltage higher halfway through the treatment?
My hand sweating went down considerably, but not completely. What should be my next step?
Thank you |

Are you still doing 15 minutes a day? Try to increase the time and do maybe 20 or 30 minutes a day. |

I started doing my hands and feet separately. My hands at 35, and feet at 40. At first it seemed to be working, but now as the weather is becoming warmer, I often find my hands and feet sweaty.
The water is at room temperature. |

Maybe it's a good idea to try treating hands and feet separately. When doing so, which settings can you reach?
Do you use warm or cold water? |

I have tried doing iontophoresis treatments with my Hidrex machine multiple times with different settings. Each time I was only able to achieve partial dryness.
Right now I have been doing iontophoresis for 2 weeks at 23 volts for 15 minutes a day. (In the past I have used higher voltage, but for some reason I've become more sensitive, and my machine now automatically stops at 23.) I treat my hands and feet together. The pulse strength is 50. (I started out with the lowest pulse setting so that I can use higher voltage.)
My hands and feet are still somewhat sweaty. What should my next step be? |

Hello,
The guarantee is only for 2 years and it can not be extended. Don't worry, I'm sure it will last longer! As long as your device works properly, it is really not necessary to ship it back! You would just spend money needlessly.
If it works fine, treating hands and feet together, it's ok, but you can try to do it separately to see if it works even better.
How long do you treat?
You can find more Information about the maintenance treatment under the following link:

I purchased my machine nearly four years ago. Is there anything I can do that is similar to reconditioning in order to make it last longer?
I do iontophoresis on my hands and feet together. Does 2.5 cups of water per tray sound like the right amount?
If I do longer iontophoresis sessions, will have to them less often? |

The manual talks about getting the device reconditioned:
Quote: | Legal reasons limit the lifespan of this medical device to 4 years. The manu-facturer has to recondition the medical device not later than by the end of this term. Each successful reconditioning by the manufacturer extends the lifespan of the medical device by 2 years. If the HIDREX iontophoresis sys-tem is reconditioned for the same patient, the treatment trays or carrying case (depending on their condition) do not necessarily have to be replaced |
Also, can you please give me a measurement for how much water I should put in the trays?
Thank you |

What is the difference between volts and ma? Which is better to use? How can I tell which one I am using?
Is pulse-width 90 more effective than pulse-width 100?
Is it more effective to treat the hands and feet separately than it is to treat them together?
Is it okay if I do not alternate the red and black cables?
Does it really matter whether the light next to the hand or the light next to the foot is lit up?
How do I get my machine reconditioned?
Thank you |
