Normally the iontophoresis devices we sell are strong enough to handle this, a sign that it is not is when you cant reach the wished current

Ok thank u. I thought the more cloth layers would take away from effect of machine, is this true?

it does not matter wich Kind of tissue is on the plates (as Long it is a Cotton one) and covers the whole Skin area, and is thick enough that there is no direct contact to the electrodes (no wholes in the sock, and a bit thicker material like a towel has)
but there is nothing against laying additional the towels in the trays...

I use socks to get more of my feet that doesn't touch water. I cut out toe & heel of socks but I was wondering, instead of cutting out can I use socks & leave out the towels that came with machine? Will I get a shock from plates with only socks?
I hope I am making sense.
