Hi. I've been a hidrex user for about 10 years now. For the first 8 years the machine was very effective. I would guess my palmar and planar sweating was reduced 90-95%. The effectiveness then began to wane. Hidrex USA told me I needed new electrodes. I got them (stainless steel) and they were effective again for 2 years before I noticed an increase in sweating again. I purchased another pair and this time I am not getting much relief at all. I did notice the power cable needed an adjustment to get power to the unit on my last treatment. The power did stay on the whole treatment. Could the power supply be the issue? Could the main unit need replacing after 10 years? I use it twice a week every week for 45 minutes (25 for hands, 20 for feet). I added baking soda to the water in case the water was different, but that hasn't helped either.
It cannot be the power supply, also the main unit must not replaced.
Sometimes you need to do more treatments, please google: “optimizing iontophoresis”
You will find our new pages with suggestions
