Sure it is! 2) Isn’t my body too heavy after I sit directly on the electrodes that I could risk of damaging them? (My weight is around 80 Kg) 80 kg do nothing to a 1,5 mm solid metal plate ;-) 3) Would you suggest Aluminum or Stainless Steel Electrodes for this procedure? having no allergy (chromium or nickel) i suggest stainless steel 4) Which current would you suggest for this body area since in the forum post also says "remember to start with a low current, the buttocks is also a very sensitive part of the body! “ ? to be on a safe side i would use this: https://www.iontodevice.com/hyperhidrosis/how-to-adjust-the-perfect-pulsed-setting-for-hidrex-psp1000-t748.html[/quote]

Post subject: concerning iontophoresis - sensible parts
Hi,
I’m from Italy, I’m 28 years old now and I suffer of severe hyperhidrosis in the buttocks area since almost 4 years.
I discovered Iontophoresis surfing on the internet and then I found a post in your forum (
https://www.iontodevice.com/hyperhidrosis/iontophoresis-on-the-buttocks-t515.html
) saying that that Hidrex PS device could be used for the treatment of this region as well.
The suggested procedure in the forum post is the following:
"For the treatment you can place the electrodes on the floor, on a chair, wherever you feel comfortable. Then you place a wet towel (it should not be too dry, but the water should also not drip) on top of the electrodes and sit down. In other words, you sit with your buttocks on the towel, which is on the electrodes!”
What I’m wondering is:
1) Is this procedure feasible and working?
2) Isn’t my body too heavy after I sit directly on the electrodes that I could risk of damaging them? (My weight is around 80 Kg)
3) Would you suggest Aluminum or Stainless Steel Electrodes for this procedure?
4) Which current would you suggest for this body area since in the forum post also says "remember to start with a low current, the buttocks is also a very sensitive part of the body! “ ?
Thank you very much for your support!
