yes it is all correct, but not the point of the current feel from high pulse settions (90%) compared with direct current (100%)
there is a cascade of the feel that you can approximate describe like this:
100%=100% current feel (current level can mostly not set to the max)
I will write something about this another day (then i place a link here)
90%=40% current feel - best ratio of efficiancy at highest current levels
80%-50% = 35-25% current feel - at decreasing current levels from 80-50% with regards to the 100% ratio (direct current)

This is nonsense, regardless of pulsed or direct current, it is always a galvanic current, which means in the end that it is the same. at the same current levels pulsed and direct current are effectively the same , for example: the pulsed current with 30 volts is the same effectively as a direct current with 30 volts.
If you have an Iontophoresis machine that is not up to professional standards, it will give you the top voltage, compared to the Hidrex and Idromed Iontophoresis machines, which will show you the average current flow.
For this reason, I can tell you 30 volts with the Hidrex PSP 1000, regardless what you have chosen as pulsed width (50,60,70 or 90%) is the same effectively as 30 Volts in direct current mode (100% pulse width).
The idea behind the Iontophoresis pulsed current is that you don't feel the current that much if you go down with the pulse width, 30 volts are much harder to stand at 90% compared to 80%, 80% or harder to stand in 70% and so on.
If you buy the Hidrex PSP 1000 and compare the direct current mode to the pulsed ones, you will be surprised how smooth and comfortable the pulsating settings are, in our example 30 volts with direct current, if you want to treat hands, are for the most users unbearable, whilst 30 volts at 50% are easy to handle.
I hope this was helpful for you and that you can understand now how the relation is between direct current and efficiency.
Also this article will give you some deeper insight

Post subject: Pulsed or Direct
Hi,
More person told me that direct current is more effective than pulsed one(more exact, that a pulsed one at maximum capacity is about 65 % or less of max capacity of a direct one). This is true?
