[quote="katicabogar"]Hello, I have been using the iontophoresis device for the past two years, mostly successfully. I'm planning on to get pregnant in the very near future, so I will have to stop using the device. :( I'm not looking forward for the sweating to come back. Why don't you write a private message to the user who started this thread? She also wrote something about stopping with ionto to get pregnant.

Hi,
Thank you for your answer. I've already contact them and they told me that there is no evidence that it can have any bad effect. I just wanted to find information also by another source. That's why I'm asking also here.
Is there maybe, on that forum, any woman who was using iontophoresis for a while, and then she stopped to get pregnant. Have she got any problems? Does anyone has any experience in that matter? Thanks.

Dear MarKa,
I am sorry, but I have no information I can give you about that. From my experience I would say, that Iontophoresis has no effect on internal organs and does not affect getting pregnant.
But, to be sure, I would suggest you write Hidrex directly. Here is their email-address:

Post subject: iontophoresis before pregnancy
Hi,
I would like to ask a question concerning iontophoresis and pregnancy.
I was using Hidrex machine for 3 years - for hands and foot, several times per month.
Few months ago I stopped using that at all, as I started to be afraid that it may be dangerous for women and their fertility.
Is there maybe any research about that? Can the current affect internal organs?
After using it for some time can it destroy or affect in any way oviducts or female ovas?
Is there any research about that? Do Women has problems with getting pregnant or having healthy babies after using ionophoresis for hiperhydrosis of feet and plams for several years? Current is actually passing through abdomen, and can pass through ovaries and ovas.
Thank you for any information about that.
Best,
katicabogar

Antiperspirant, not antidepressant!!!!
You can try our perspiguard sensitive. Its without AlCl, since you want to get pregnant, i think its better.

Hi,
If it has worked for you once, then it will work again!
Maybe you can Switch to an Antiperspirant during your pregnancy.
We wish you all the best!
