Sorry, I forgot to answer to you request above: the idea behind Iontophoresis and the current flow is not only to have an effect where the electrodes are placed, it is (or can be) the whole area the current is conducted through, so it flows from one electrode to the other when you sit on them (with a towel between the skin and the metal of the electrodes) and because of this it will also flow via the crack of the bottom.
Another example of this is that: a lot of users who treat the hands also get an effect for their sweaty armpits. |

We understood, it is the lower part of C.
For this area it is a good idea to give our first hint (some posts above) a trial - then get back to us after 3 weeks... |

its neither A, B or C. Like I said, its in the crack of my butt, near the anal area. |

so with the towel idea, is the process that the wet towel is on the electrodes, then you sit on the towel, and put the towel on sweating areas? or must it lay flat on the electrodes? I"m a bit confused by the explaination...
Basically I want to target the crack of my bottom, not the butt cheeks themselves... |

You may use this routine
https://www.iontodevice.com/hyperhidrosis/how-to-adjust-the-perfect-pulsed-setting-for-hidrex-psp1000-t748.html
Or simply go up carefully with the current till it tingles, and then just take it a little bit down until it feels comfortable.
Do not forget to pay attention to the condition of your skin ! A slow increase mA by mA (starting very low at 1-2 mA) each session is the best way to make sure you get no skin irritations ... the parts you want to treat with Iontophoresis are very sensitive (because the skin is thin in these areas). |

so would having the two electrodes in the same tub be ok, as long as they don't touch each other?
Just don't want to ruin my machine.
Thanks,
S. |

There is another simple solution: just put the electrodes on a flat surface
(chair, bank , etc.) with a distance of 7 cm between them. Put a thick , wet towel over the electrodes ,the towel must be 100% cotton or hemp. You can also take 2 towels and leave only 3 cm distance between the electrodes, make sure the whole electrode area is covered with the towels ... now you can sit on top of the towels to perform Iontophoresis treatments with one electrode (remember that the position of the towel is between the metal and the skin) for each part of the bottom. |

|
hey all.
I've got really annoying sweating in my bum, and also groin area. (29yo male)
I have a plastic little kids pool, that i can sit in, and put the two electrodes in side by side and sit on them, is that ok?
It's the only way I can see it working the areas I want it to, but I don't want to wreck the machine?
Usually for my fee they are in seperate tubs, but would it matter if they both were in the same tub, as long as they don't touch each other>?
Cheers. S |
