Hello, Normally, if you are not allergic to nickel or chrome, we suggest choosing the stainless steel electrodes because they are more resistant than the aluminium electrodes and they don't need to be cleaned as often as the aluminium ones. In the long run, the current conductivity of the stainless steel electrodes is better. If you treat separately the current will be automatically stronger: If you treat hands and feet together the current will be divided on 4 parts, if you treat only hands or only feet the current flow will be "split" between only 2 parts. If you need high current settings to maintain your feet/hands dry, it would be more effective to treat hands and feet separately.
Post subject: idromed 5 polarity not as strong
hi there,
my idromed 5 has been losing maximum polarity (even after i cleaned the aluminum plates in apple cider vinegar). wondering if you suggest ordering the steel plates...do those work better?
right now i have to put my hands and feet in at the same time to get to 25. feel only max is around 14-15. doesn't the machine work better if you treat hands and feet separately?
so basically, two questions
1. will using steel plates increase polarity?
2. is treatment more effective with hands and feet done separately?
thanks!
