Hello, I'm considering buying either Idromed 5PC or Hidrex PSP1000. I have a question about carrying cases. Which one is more durable? I'm from Canada, but I travel frequently to Finland. I would like to be able to take the device with me. I don't want it to break during the transportation. I saw Idromed 5PC case is shock proof, what about the Hidrex? Idromed also has a converter for US plug. Does Hidrex have one too? Is it possible that the device won't work because of the voltage? I really need your advice on this matter. Which of these two is better for the traveler like me. :)
We meant, that we will include the other clip for free, if you write us a beautyful post in the forum about your hyperhidrosis story and how it´s going with the device. Ah....I saw that you already wrote something, if you could update the post every once in a while, and tell how it´s going with the machine, that would be great!

Hello,
I just ordered Hidrex 1000, but I was unable to add step-up converter, because I was going over my debit card limit lol, so I just ordered the US plug. Can I order the second EU clip later?

You can just order the stepup transformer
http://www.sweating.com/iontophoresis/voltage-differnces.html
and then write in the comments field "second clip (UK or US or UE) for hidrex plug instead of stepup". Then I will know and will include the second clip and debit the more from your credit card.

Hello Karjalainen,
Idromed
and
Hidrex
have both the same carrying case. The Hidrex one is just a bit smaller.
Yes, Idromed has the mains plug and the stepup converter, it looks like this
https://www.iontodevice.com/sweating/iontophoresis/step-up-transformator-110-to-240-v-2.html
. The hidrex has only a mains plug with a clip, so you can change for example between an US-clip or an UK-Clip or an UE-Clip. Hidrex will always work, doesn´t matter what voltage and/or clip you have.
In my opinion the best device for travellers is the hidrex: it is smaller, due that it has only the mains plug (which is also smaller and lighter than the idromed one) it is not so heavy, you can order two clips (US for USA and UE for Finland) and change them with a simple click depending in which country you are and Hidrex devices are a bit more scratch resistant than Idromed!
