After 2-3 weeks of usage of the Hidrex PC my hands and feet haven't been this dry for as long as I can remember. I have read about people doing iontophoresis to control sweating can get problems with the skin cracking etc. when not sweating as much anymore. Right now I don't have any problems, but perhaps I should start using lotion already to be pro-active so to speak. What are your recommendations regarding using hand lotion while doing treatment? Does hand lotion make the treatment less effective, for example blocking the current to reach the sweat glands? Thanks!
Hello sbm,
You can use a good cream, or our
Current Care
But only AFTER treatment! If you have cream on your hands before or while doing treatment, it can block the current flow and the treatment could be influenced in a negative way meaning: not so effective anymore - although our Iontophoresis machines are very powerful. If you still want to use cream during the day (before you do the treatment), then make sure to thoroughly wash your hands before treatment! But still, I really would recommend to put on cream only after therapy!
