Hello--I have been using the Hidrex GS400 for the past 3 weeks and have not experienced any change in sweating. Below are my 'settings' to treat my feet only:
-very low water depth just covering the metal electrodes
-almost daily treatments (missed 1 or 2 days)
-each treatment 25-45 minutes (usually 30-35)
-switched polarity weekly
-voltage 40-50, no pain
-no medications, topical creams or lotions, no dietary changes

I feel like the treatment intensity has been pretty high but still no discernible change in sweating. Do you have further suggestions?

Please note that at the beginning it is very important to treat every day, without interruptions.

May I kindly ask you to answer also the following questions:

Do you use supplements in the water like soda or salt?
- Did you install a water softener, or any kind of water filter or water treatment (ionic/osmosis, etc.) in your house?
- Do you take any nutrition supplements like vitamins? Or any oral medication? (any kind, like Vagatin, Aspirin, etc.)

- Have you tried Iontophoresis before?
- If yes:
- Where (clinic, at home)?
- Did you have success?
- If yes:
- What kind of device was it?
- Have you moved since then or have you moved since you started the therapy with the actual device?
- Did something change regarding the quality of your water?

Some users have problems with their Treatment water, we suggest using Volvic for 3 weeks as your treatment water.

Hi--I tried using Evian and possibly experienced relief but am uncertain as I was forced to interrupt treatments with a 10-day vacation. Unfortunately, my 60-day trial period is about to run out so I won't have the opportunity to re-initiate therapy using Evian water to see if it truly works.

Is there a potential to extend the trial period so I can fully evaluate? If not, what is the procedure for returning the device and receiving a refund?

After having done original treatments for about a month with no success, I moved on to using Evian water in the trays instead. I thought this might be working and was disappointed when I had to itnerrupt treatments for vacation.

Since returning, I have resumed almost daily treatments with Evian in the trays for the past 2.5 weeks without any benefit. I average 25-35 minutes per treatment at 40-45 volts with very little water in the trays. I treat my feet only. I think the sweating is actually worsening, but it is hard to tell why since I experience regular fluctuations in my sweating. I take no medications and use no topical creams. My health in general is excellent.

The period of my money-back guarantee is nearing its end, and I am very committed to achieving success with iontophoresis, but am becoming frustrated. Any further suggestions?

How long was the break due to vacation?
We would like to extend the guarantee for 2 further weeks.
When you treat with 45 Volt, it doesn't hurt, could you go higher?
If not, maybe you can treat longer? Some users treat even up to 60 minutes.

Well, previously I was able to reaach 45V without pain, but recently due to some unrelated abrasions on my feet, the max is 35-40 even with the application of petroleum jelly to the affected areas.

I will try treating for longer.

The break was 15 days, so I am assuming it effectively negated any prior effect that I had achieved.

treatment time: 30-60 minutes (typically 30-40 minutes)
voltage: 35-40V
current: direct; usually + on right side but switched once or twice
area: feet
water: very shallow, Evian

Is there any utility in trying the Pulsed Current devices? The voltage (and sometimes duration) of treatment was limited by discomfort, particularly at sites of minor skin irritation. I did apply vaseline to these areas to permit treatment but sometimes that only permitted treatment for a certain period of time.

I think if it's all the same I will just return my device for the refund and maybe in the future try the pulsed current machine. I am very frustrated and am having difficulty performing the treatments daily with my current schedule.

Is that OK? Where do I mail it to, and how is the shipping cost handled?

Well, the hidrex gs 400 is not the same as the hidrex psp 1000. The chances of having success with the Hidrex psp are much higher than with the Hidrex gs. We would recommend to trying it out! Of course, it is really important to do the daily treatments in the beginning, or else there won't be any success.
